Student Ambassadors Program

Berkeley City College Student
Ambassadors Outreach Program

Do you enjoy helping others? Being a leader? Taking part in special events? How about making easy money doing something you enjoy? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then being a Berkeley City College Student Ambassador is the perfect plan for you! Sound too good to be true? Well, it’s not. Among the many scholarships offered at BCC, the Student Ambassador Program is one of the most rewarding opportunities for the community, school, and the student.

The Student Ambassadors Program takes high performing students and asks some of these students to serve as ambassadors for the college. One area where ambassadors serve the college is to do outreach at local high schools. This work demands that the Student Ambassadors enjoy direct communication with high school students and be capable of effective interpersonal interactions with students from diverse backgrounds (e.g. ethnic, socioeconomic, cultural, academic, etc.)

If you are interested in being a Student Ambassador please stop by Room 124 or contact Victor Flint at (510) 981-2857 by email: veflint@peralta.edu . We are asking for a letter of intent and a resume, if you have one available. Being a Student Ambassador is a paid position, with a time commitment ranging from 5-10 hours a week.

We congratulate you on your academic successes at Berkeley City College and welcome you to apply for participation in this program.
